Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a leading manufacturer of automotive, electronic systems and due to recent growth, they have opened a position for a Wiring Tool Engineer.
What you will do: The Wiring Tool Engineer supports the client design team using the Capital Harness tools within the proposed client design environment. The role provides on-site time to coach the client design team through the creation of an initial pilot project, provides library part, symbol, analysis model, and systems design creation, and supplies level management. The position performs architectural studies, provides topology design validation, supplies wiring and harness design creation, and propogates wiring content to harnesses. Additionally, the Wiring Tool Engineer Performs documentation for tool usage.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Current experience in automotive engineering. Experience with wiring and harnesses. Familiarity with creating block diagrams with and without hierarchy. Ability to read and create logical schematics and wiring diagrams. Familiarity with Saber and 3D bridges and their requirements.
