Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a global Tier 1 automotive supplier whose products are in 25% of of all vehicles on the road. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Warranty Engineer.
What you will do: The Warranty Engineer participates as a member of a cross-functional warranty team, representing the disciplines of quality assurance. The position provides assistance to satisfy customer warrant management requirements, gathers warranty related data from both external and internal sources, and monitors OEM claims and other warranty related reports. The role analyzes returned parts from dealer participation programs for root cause analysis, analyzes warranty data, and assists in preparing and presenting internal/external presentations. Additionally, the Warranty Engineer acts as warranty champion, facilitates warranty management team meetings, and coordinates applicable project resolution, while also tracking progress on warranty management team project implementation and reporting on status.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Knowledge of quality assurance tools and methodologies. Current experience in warranty analysis, OEM warranty systems and QA Systems. Experience in manufacturing.
