Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a world leading supplier of innovative parts and systems to the global automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Warranty Analyst.
What you will do: The Warranty Analyst drives continuous improvement in warranty reporting, processes and procedures, while also providing direct customer interface for conducting warranty part reviews, OEM purchase order corrections, claims investigation, customer warranty systems corrections/updates, customer rating/scoring system corrections/updates, and warranty cost recovery avoidance/mitigation. The role provides quarterly warranty accrual updates to finance for all customers, based on customer warranty agreements, terms and conditions, specific issues and statistical forecasts, acts as point of contact for all customer databases, and works with supplier development quality engineers to ensure expectations from suppliers are met to resolve warranty issues.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in warranty analytics. Knowledge of customers’ trends, perceptions, needs and expectations. Advanced statistical knowledge.
