Raleigh, North Carolina – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a national supplier of manufactured products. Due to their most recent growth, they have opened a position for a VP of Finance and Global Operations.
What you will do: The Vice President of Finance and Global Operations advises leadership teams on financial planning budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters. The role contributes to the development of strategic goals and objectives and serve as an active, visible leader in the organization, maintains continuous lines of communication, keeping key stakeholders informed of critical issues, and oversees, directs, and organizes the work of the global finance operations team. The position promotes a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality, uses lean tools such as root cause analysis, countermeasures, and action planning to establish and manage continuous improvement, and ensures team members receive timely and appropriate training and development. Additionally, the Vice President of Finance and Global Operations establishes/monitors associate performance and development goals, develops teams using a supportive and collaborative approach, and plans, coordinates, and executes the annual budget process.
What you will need: Business or Accounting degree; master’s in business administration and/or CPA preferred. Prior experience in a leadership role within manufacturing. Knowledge of GAAP, financial consolidation systems (Hyperion) and internal control framework. Ability to travel 30-50% (including international travel).
