Hickory, North Carolina – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with an industry leader in the automotive supply industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Value Stream Manager, east of Hickory.
What you will do: The Value Stream Manager oversees the execution and control of plant safety, quality, cost and delivery performance versus goals for the top load assembly operation, retains principal responsibility of processes and performance across 3 shifts, and deploys strategic initiatives defined in planning process, overseeing the execution of activities to achieve goals. The position drives continuous improvement in areas of responsibility relative to business objectives, prioritizes/organizes short term and long term goals and activities in accordance with business objectives, and ensures strict adherence to all manufacturing standards/methods. The role ensures strict adherence to the leadership model, develops strategic plans in which business goals and objectives are met, and is responsible for employee mentoring, coaching, counseling and corrective actions as necessary in a continuous improving organization.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Strong experience in management. Current experience in manufacturing operations. Experience in lean manufacturing.
