Savannah, Georgia- Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a multi-national company that manufactures advanced engineering solutions.. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Manufacturing Engineer.
What you will do: The Manufacturing Engineer provides manufacturing engineering support complex engineered products. The role leads assigned technical development programs for components in accordance with design procedures for manufacturing qualification of new products and component upgrades both in house and suppliers. The position performs evaluation of non-conforming product to determine effect on reliability and performance while communicating with the commercial team to provide disposition with justification that meets the company’s need. Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineer leads evaluation of ideas from manufacturing and suppliers for design changes to reduce cost and lead time, supports development of repair criteria standards for gas turbine components, and enhances the documentation and configuration control methods in use.
What you will need: BS degree in Engineering. Advanced experience in manufacturing engineering. Working experience with CAD systems.
