Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a national provider of power distribution services. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Transformer Proposal Engineer west of Milwaukee.
What you will do: The Transformer Proposal Engineer drives the sales process, provides customers with the proper engineered to order transformer, or options as necessary, and builds/maintains strong relationships with customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. The role hosts customers during onsite visits, inclusive of tours, meals, product technical reviews and commercial negotiations, mentors less tenured Application Proposal Engineers to ensure ongoing development to better support our customers, and develops/presents product training materials. The position assists in the definition and communication of the value proposition of the product/proposal to the customer, provides product, application and technical support to the sales team and customers, and creates demand through technical promotion. Additionally, the Transformer Proposal Engineer ensures achievement of established targets through metric tracking and application of continuous improvement methods, prepares proposals, and prepares accurate cost estimates to support proposals.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering. Current experience in proposal engineering. Experience in applications engineering. Extensive knowledge of transformer design and production. Experience in power distribution products.
