Houston, Texas – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a leading supplier of industrial robots, modular manufacturing systems and service. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Transformer Field Service Supervisor.
What you will do: The Transformer Field Service Supervisor resolves complex technical and logistic problems, develops and implements measures to improve operations and customer relations, and assess changes for transformer equipment. The position plans and establishes work schedules, negotiates with customers regarding installation, and manages the testing/repair of transformer products, while also monitoring activity to anticipate potential problems. Additionally, the Transformer Field Service Supervisor informs other groups of potential opportunities of new business, ensures that equipment is properly maintained, and maintains awareness of new developments and technologies.
What you will need: Current experience in service management and service testing. Experience with field service operations and transformer. Knowledgeable and fully fluent in transformer installation. Strong vacuum and oil processing understanding. Familiarity with shell and/or core form transformer designs and components internal to the transformer. Experience welding above and below oil on transformer tanks. Load Tap Changer (LTC) maintenance and repair knowledge.
