Training Manager

Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a national supplier of IT and marketing services. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Training Manager.

What you will do: The Training Manager writes program deliverables to meet internal and external client objectives, approaches design and development of projects using Instructional Design principles and tools, and develops training solutions that are creative and engaging to learners. The role prioritizes incoming work and coordinates with Project Managers and Training Managers to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables, while also managing scope of work and adhering to timelines during design, development, execution and evaluation of training initiatives. The position maintains awareness of the financial performance of projects and drives revenue opportunities to meet financial targets.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Human Performance, Instructional Design (ID), or Writing – (MA/MS Preferred). Experience in the training/education field and knowledge of adult learning theory and human performance improvement processes. Experience with automotive training development; including familiarity with automotive retail processes. Practical experience with Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation of performance improvement initiatives for all media, including blended solutions (classroom training, web-based training, job aids, performance support tools, video). Ability to develop instructional objectives and strategies, develop recommendations for deliverables and implement solutions.
