Jefferson, Texas – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a construction supply company that services both residential and commercial markets. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Buyer for Timber.
What you will do: The Timber Buyer is responsible for daily wood procurement activities. The role spends the majority of time administering timber purchase agreements and maintaining good relationships with qualified logging professionals, suppliers, forestry consultants, forest landowners, and the public.
What you will need: Current experience in a timber procurement role. Strong network within the region. Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry/Forest Resource Management. Experience with the principles of sustainable forestry and be knowledgeable of the industry.
