Tier One Systems Engineer

Livonia, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs     is working with a global, electronics company to identify a Systems Engineer for a newly created role.

What you will do: The Mechanical Engineer works with customers in defining new products, generating proposals, developing project plans and validation specifications. The role designs and develops magnetic sensors, evaluates magnet materials and geometry, and is responsible for analog and digital design from concept to production, while also testing/debugging electronic and magnetic circuits. The position simulates sensor behavior using advanced CAE tools, creates/maintains engineering documentation such as bills of material, D/PFMEA, FTA, process flows, specifications, procedures, and other types of engineering documentation, and uses common automotive design tools for circuit design, requirements capture, circuit analysis, diagnostics and module communication. Additionally, the Mechanical Engineer resolves open issues (internal and customer driven) for products under development and in production, performs prototype product failure analysis on customer returns, scrap and DV/PV parts and report results, and establishes/maintains key customer engineering contacts.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and current experience in product engineering. Automotive experience. Experience in high volume manufacturing.
