Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working a tier one supplier of automotive systems and due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Software Engineering Supervisor.
What you will do: The Software Engineering Supervisor participates in strategic software and system roadmap development for the group, provides leadership to suppliers and technical partners and participates in customer meetings including business development and RFQ activities, demos, etc. The role supports application specific hazard analysis and safety plan development, maintains software development program timing plans to meet project and customer deadlines, and supervises the development and coordination of software requirements. The position supports customer by coordinating meetings and directing activities, manages internal engineering open action lists and deliverables, and participates and approves program design reviews. Additionally, the Software Engineering Supervisor assists manufacturing divisions in the preparation of testing tool design, manages and presents software technical presentations to current and potential customers, and interfaces with the customer with regard to supporting quality issues (life of program).
What you will need: B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology. Strong experience in C programming language, CAN tools, low-level software driver design and coding. Current management experience within software. Experience in the automotive industry. Experience with AUTOSAR is also desirable.
