Novi, Michigan – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an automotive manufacturing company with a global footprint. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for an R&D Engineer.
What you will do: The R&D Engineer develops, evaluates, and improves products design methods, analyzes and plans work force utilization, and designs layout of products for maximum efficiency. The role confers with other design staff (both inside and outside Mitsuba) concerning product design, confers with customers, vendors and suppliers to determine product specifications, and evaluates the prototypes according to product specification and quality standards. The position implements equipment operating programs, confers with manufacturing, engineering, quality, production planning, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production process, while also participating in meetings, seminars, workshops, and training sessions to stay apprised of new developments in field.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Experience in automotive manufacturing. Current experience in research and development from a management position.
