Production Control Manager

Carrollton, Georgia- Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with an international automotive manufacturer and due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Production Control Manager.

What you will do: The Production Control Manager manages production control activities to reduce outages and incidents, manages production planning and scheduling for on-time delivery, and recommends process improvements for high quality, cost effectiveness and excellent customer services. The role evaluates system performance and recommends improvements, supervises team members in their assigned job duties, and organizes job training to employees to achieve production objectives, while also reviewing the job orders with customers and production team to determine pricing and schedules. The position monitors execution of job orders and adjusts job schedule to meet the deadlines, communicates the status of job orders to customers on regular basis, and attends daily meetings to prioritize and plan production activities to maintain on-time delivery. Additionally, the Production Control Manager reviews daily reports to identify and address equipment malfunctions, material shortages and other factory problems, determines equipment, materials and staff needs to meet production schedule, and coordinates with Department Manager to develop company policies and procedures.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree preferred. JD Edwards experience is a plus. Strong, high volume manufacturing experience. Experience with latches or handles. Strong experience within the automotive manufacturing. Experience managing multiple indirect and direct reports throughout a manufacturing plants.
