Little Rock, Arkansas – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a leading supplier of electronic components to a myriad of industries. We have been tasked to identify a Plating Manager for a newly created role.
What you will do: The Plating Manager provide leadership for plating management and scrap reduction, supports plant wide quality initiatives, collaborates with other departments on cross-departmental quality issues and ensures compliance to global change notice requirements. The role drives reduction in gold usage, collaborates with other plating departments and subject matter experts to obtain knowledge and best practices in gold usage measurement, application, reduction and reclaim, and reports gold usage. The position drives continuous improvement, drives new technologies, conducts ongoing capacity analysis/line balancing, and ensures all budgetary requirements are monitored and managed effectively. Additionally, the Plating Manager implements programs to drive housekeeping to a best-in-class level, ensures documented preventative maintenance programs are followed, and supports and drives all GLSS (Global Lean Six Sigma) related activities.
What you will need: BS Degree in Engineering. Current experience in a supervisor role within a high volume manufacturing environment. Solid hands on experience with plating, preferably gold.
