New Boston, Michigan – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Our client is a major Tier One for German automotive. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Maintenance Technician.
What you will do: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems in a high volume production environment. The role performs preventive maintenance activities, interacts with a computerized maintenance management system, and works closely with machine operators. The position is responsible for interior building maintenance items and building surrounding aspects, performing small tasks, determining the need for external services and verifying the quality of work. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician operates within the confines of industry accepted standards such as ISO14001 and TS14969.
What you will need: BExperience in industrial electrical application, pneumatics, and control systems. Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems. CNC programming and ABB Robotics experience. PLC troubleshooting and programming, equipment installation and preventative maintenance experience.
