Plymouth, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier to the automotive manufacturing industry and due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for an HMI Engineer.
What you will do: The HMI Engineer develops and creates HMI functional specification and concepts. The role identifies production requirements and performance issues, negotiates with core design team for resolution, and manages small projects and technical resources, including planning, estimating and follow through works with the customers to further define requirements and to resolve issues. The position communicates effectively with HMI core design team to improve overall system appearance, prepares the technical evaluation and proposals for engineering change proposals, and is responsible for communication with customer on design definition.
What you will need: BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Current experience in the automotive industry. Experience with HMI systems.
