Tier One Fuel Engineer

Warren, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a leading supplier of quality and testing systems. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Fuel Engineer.

What you will do: The Fuel Engineer facilitates design/product validation test programs for a single or multiple customer base. The role operates and maintains Fuel Pump Module test stands, interprets and works to several OEM test specifications, SAE and ASTM standards, and develops/uses LabView programs for automated test systems. The position creates and updates project timelines for multiple customers, uses various data acquisition equipment, and identifies test equipment, lab facilities, and fixture resources to complete various testing per test plans, while also reviewing test data and present to customers (OEM and Tier 1 & 2 suppliers). Additionally, the Fuel Engineer creates project summaries and final reports for customers, assists in project quoting, manages technicians, and communicates test details, concerns, and timing with multiple customers.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. Current experience in product/project engineering. Current experience in automotive engineering. Experience with fuel systems and pump modules. Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements.
