Tier One Financial Analyst

Livonia, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a global tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, the company has a newly created position for a Financial Analyst that will be in line for a plant controller through succession planning.

What you will do: The Financial Analyst manages the cost accounting and AP functions at the plant level, provides full administrative support to the Plant Controller and Director of Operations and/or staff managers, is responsible for general ledger accounting, accounts receivable, tooling accounting, financial statement preparation, budgeting and forecasting. The role is responsible for accounts receivable, tooling accounting, and financial statement preparation, while also creating budget for finance department and developing/reviewing department budgets with department and staff managers. The position assists in creation of Operating Plan (OP) and Long Range Plan (LRP), analyzes capital expenditures and creates month end reports, while also being responsible for the annual physical inventory.

What you will need: Degree related to Accounting. Current experience in a financial role. Knowledge of manufacturing. SAP FI-CO and SOX experience is preferred.
