Plymouth, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery    www.movementsearch.com    is working with a leading manufacturer of quality solutions. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Electrical Engineer – Vibration.

What you will do: The Electrical Engineer – Vibration is responsible for independently performing testing and evaluation on a variety of products to the provisions of client-provided or other national, international or industry-specific performance and durability standards. The role reads/determines applicability of national codes and standards clauses for the EUT (equipment under test), validates the project scope and sample applicability, and follows the established test plan. The position sets up/operates EUT, performs/documents simple repairs on EUT, conducts thorough construction reviews, and performs testing of products in accordance with standards. Additionally, the Electrical Engineer – Vibration mentors less senior technical personnel, supplies information for quotes such as length of project, site needed, rental equipment, samples, and standards that will be used, and provides sales support such as attending client visits.

What you will need: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Current experience in electrical engineering. Experience with vibration testing. Experience with Automotive (SAE, OEM specific), or International (ANSI, MIL, IEC, ISO) performance and environmental simulation test standards,  and/or U.S., Canadian, and other International product safety standards, i.e., ANSI, CSA, UL, EN, IEC.
