Tier One Electrical Engineer - Japan Residency

Ann Arbor, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a 100-year-old company with a large footprint in the automotive tier-one space. Due to their growth, they have several newly created positions for an Electrical Engineer.

What you will do: The Electrical Engineer provides entry-level technical knowledge and analytical support through the preparation of product drawings, specifications, and/or conduct of product investigations and performance evaluations. The role obtains and clarifies customer technical expectations and participates in the creation of product drawings and specifications including design FMEAs, design studies, and design records. The position participates in product investigations and performance evaluations including planning, sample specification, sample procurement, tooling design, tooling procurement, machine operations, and reporting, while also participating in cross-functional teams related to product launches, change requests and quality improvements. Additionally, the Electrical Engineer functions as a liaison between North American and Japanese plants for technical and design matters.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in seating products. Current experience as a product engineer within the tier-one automotive manufacturing space. Ability to live in Japan for 2 years. Ability to speak Japanese is a plus.
