Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a growing Tier One automotive supplier. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have newly opened position for a Documentation Specialist.
What you will do: The Documentation Specialist is responsible for the development and delivery of final documentation which meets customer standards and specifications. The role creates operation and maintenance manuals, visual aids, and customer work instructions, creates HTML knowledge systems, and creates equipment lubrication charts. The position creates equipment Energy Control and Power Lockout (ECPL) placards, compiles equipment recommended spare part lists, and creates equipment training materials. Additionally, the Documentation Specialist collects and maintains tier 2 supplier’s documentation, creates/maintains equipment photo library, creates/maintains equipment video library, and continually supports sales, mechanical, and controls engineering design personnel.
What you will need: Current experience in technical writing. Current AutoCAD and Inventor (or similar 3D CAD programs such as SolidWorks) experience. Experience writing automotive manufacturing documentation. Experience drawing automotive manufacturing diagrams and documentation. Knowledge of CorelDraw software and other draw programs and HTML editors. Experience with operation and maintenance manuals.
