Tier One Calibration Engineer - Torque Control

Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Torque Control Calibration Engineer.

What you will do: The Torque Control Calibration Engineer develops, tests and releases assigned engine calibrations for assigned applications using calibration guides and meeting best practices. The role works to optimize the driveability/fuel economy balance through engine calibration, releases assigned engine calibration section sets, and recommends software changes required to achieve drievability and fuel economy objectives for the project. The position attends calibration review meetings to assure that responsible calibrations are properly documented and implemented in the official calibration releases, while also staying abreast of engine issues that may affect transmission calibration and providing feedback to the calibration engineers.

What you will need: Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Experience in the tier one automotive industry. Current experience with calibration engineering. Experience with torque control. Experience with maintaining application charts comparison reports and documentation of official calibration releases. Working knowledge of ETAS/INCA software.  MATLAB/Simulink experience preferred.
