Tier One Automotive Process Engineer

Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery  www.movementsearch.com/jobs  is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Human Resources Generalist.

What you will do: The Human Resources Generalist acts as a liaison facility and the corporate HR depart with regard to time reporting, personnel questions, complaints, issues, administers company policies and procedures, and aids in ensuring compliance. The role maintains up to date personnel, medical and termination fillies, files FMLA and disability paperwork to employees, and performs the hiring, new hire orientation and termination of hourly employees and contract help. The position interfaces with union chairman and union reps to answer and employee relate question or grievances, distributes paychecks to employees, interfaces with supervisory employees for problem resolution and routine reporting functions, and assists in planning and organizing the annual company picnic and other special events. Additionally, the Human Resources Generalist represents company at public events and performs miscellaneous clerical functions for the HR Dept including memo writing and filing.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Business. Current experience in human resources within manufacturing. Experience with benefits and payroll. Bilingual with Spanish skills preferred.
