Plymouth, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a world leadeing automotive supplier that is the market leader in technology, quality and service for automotive applications, supplying a wide range of products to all major vehicle manufacturers. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a new position for an Applications Engineer.
What you will do: The Application Engineer is the key face to the customer and must build effective relationships with engineering, quality and plant personnel. The position supports customer timing and program deliverables, reviews, analyzes, and communicates all technical information to/from product engineers and account managers, and makes recommendations for quality improvements, reporting results of field investigations and assembly teardowns. The role assists in formal problem resolution, participates in cost-reduction initiatives and VA/VE, and promptly reports and follows-up with corrective actions for quality problems.
What you will need: B.S. in Engineering. Transmission sealing application engineering experience, with current experience in the automotive industry. Knowledge of project management.
