Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery movementsearch.com is working with a global Tier 1 automotive supplier whose products are in 25% of of all vehicles on the road. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Account Manager – Ford.
What you will do: The Account Manager develops piece price breakdowns for all new and existing parts, supports and attends customer meetings, and acts as the liaison between engineering, costing, purchasing, program management and plants. The role reviews customer scorecards to provide support to better our rating, supports Customer VIVE activities, and enters and tracks cost reduction activity. The position tracks directed supplier pricing, manages the service accounts, and determines prices to be entered into each Change Notice based on information provided by costing, while also maintaining price level bump charts for all part numbers on each program and open issues for each program. Additionally, the Account Manager – Ford enters customer RFQs (online) production parts, reviews purchase orders and tracks for accuracy (for production, service and tooling), and negotiates and settle prices (prototype/ production/ service parts and tooling) of programs in development and in production.
What you need: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business. Current account management experience. Sales experience in automotive. Account management experience with Ford customers preferred.
