Tier-One Account Manager

Plymouth, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a world leader in automotive supply that is the market leader in technology, quality and service for automotive applications, supplying a wide range of products to all major vehicle manufacturers. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a new position for an Account Manager.

What you will do: The Account Manager is responsible for management of all commercial activities with assigned accounts including generation of new profitable business, maintain current business, proactive issue resolution, pricing actions with logic, resolving AR/AP issues, improving service levels and maximizing customer satisfaction. The position visits customers, building relationships, creates pricing map based on existing business information (ex. O-ring size vs. price), and anaylzes price quoted by lead centers. The role also value sells and receives new business at price higher than competitors.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience of general industry experience in sales or application engineering. Work experience dealing with engineering and purchasing personnel at large OEM accounts. Ability to travel 50%.
