Testing Technician

Terre Haute, Indiana  – Movement Search & Delivery  www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a growing manufacturing client.  Due to a newly launched program, they have an immediate need for a Test Technician.

What you will do:  The Testing Technician designs/develops new products and product improvements. The position is responsible for all design related activities on specific projects, defines new testing equipment needs, and supports new design development and packaging study with Product Engineers. The role conducts design feasibility/manufacturability investigation with the supplier base, conducts product benchmark analysis, and is responsible for following product life cycle process. Additionally, the Testing Technician organizes BOM for prototype build, supervises RFQ process, and conducts (or supervise) prototype build, while also developing test plans, summarizing tests for presentation, and defining testing parameters.

What you will need: Knowledge of die casting, stamping and plastic component design and process. Current experience in testing within the automotive manufacturing industry.
