Testing Engineer

Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery  www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a global Tier 1 automotive supplier whose products are in 25% of of all vehicles on the road.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Climatic Mechanical Test Engineer.

What you will do: The Climatic Mechanical Test Engineer provides engineering and logistics support for climatic and mechanical validation test laboratories, develops test procedures per customer requirements, technical oversight of actual testing, coordination with internal and external teams, and supplies day-to-day technical/quality oversight of climatic and mechanical test laboratories. The role provides staff with technical expertise and guidance on individual test execution, develops/implements individual generic test procedures, and writes test reports for assigned projects. The position reviews test specifications, procedures and test reports, develops individual test setups, and supports lab accreditations with customers. Additionally, the Climatic Mechanical Test Engineer analyzes results, performs diagnosis of problems and recommends solutions.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience within the automotive industry. Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment.
