Farmington Hills, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery    www.movementsearch.com    is working with an international player in process, engineering, consultation and process system supply. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Testing Manager.

What you will do: The Testing Manager assists in setting team milestones, policy activities and managing lab scope, prepares business plan and budgets, and manages drive train evaluation project engineering team. The role manages skills matrix for the group and coordinate training to increase skill level, prepares monthly reports and operations meetings, and prepares project progress boards. The position approves, negotiates and manages plans where applicable. The position leads project planning and weekly meetings, attends and supports engineering team meetings, initiates, reviews or approves test requests, and analyzes results, approves reports and keeps on time. Additionally, the Testing Manager approves test procedures and standardized test methods, approves fixture design and testing methodology, and supports installation and purchase of instrumentation and data acquisition systems.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Advanced experience in powertrain/driveline systems. Testing and evaluation experience with automotive drive train products. Experience in vehicle level instrumentation and testing, especially for commercial automatic transmissions.
