Telematics Engineer

Plymouth, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a national supplier to the automotive manufacturing industry and due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Telematics Engineer.

What you will do: The Telematics Engineer is responsible for understanding Telematics specifications and functional requirements and constructing Telematics function validation plan and testing. The role understands the system and sub-system specification, communicates effectively with software design and validation teams to improve overall system performance, and prepares the technical evaluation and proposals for engineering change proposals. The position participates in design review, is responsible for communication with customer on design definition, and creates system test plans based on specifications and standards. Additionally, the Telematics Engineer is responsible for project management and project review with customers.

What you will need: BS in Engineering. Experience with the following tools: V-CAN, M-CAN, N-BUS, TCP/IP. Experience with OEM vehicle development projects from start to production. Current experience with telematics engineering.
