Technology Manager - Content Systems & Operations

Ann Arbor, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a leading IT developer to highlight a Technology Manager – Content Systems & Operations for their newly created role.

What you will do: The Technology Manager – Content Systems & Operations works on the Optimus project, using the Scrum (Agile) process. The role participates in the design and architectural decisions for projects, while also producing documentation to support the design and development of new systems. The position contributes toward investigation and implementation of new technologies and tools to enhance and facilitate ProQuest’s content and product development efforts.

What you will need: BSoftware development experience. Experience with distributed systems and application development. Strong background with multiple data formats and schemas (both read and create) (XML, HTML, JSON, etc.). Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, etc. Experience with Java application development using technologies such as AngularJS and REST. Experience as a Technical Lead. Experience with Cloud Implementation using AWS (Amazon Web Services). Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment. Experience with J2EE development. Experience with Java server side processing for high volume content handling, XML technologies and JMS. Experience with Perl and/or Python development. Hands on experience with Linux and/or Unix systems (command line access, manipulation of files in filesystem, process and system monitoring). Scrum Certification (Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Developer). Lean Six Sigma certification.
