Sterling Heights, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier of precision metal components and due their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Technical Sales Specialist.
What you will do: The Technical Sales Specialist grows sales by identifying and calling on new sales targets, understanding those customers’ challenges, and selling product and solutions that meet their needs. The position grows market share with existing customers by better understanding their needs and offering compelling and differentiated values, creates sales plans, and stays abreast of competitive developments, feeding marketing information back to executives. The role develops action plans that address the evolving business landscape, works with inside sales staff to quickly respond to customer inquiries, orders, and other requests for information, and provides technical support to customers for projects, quality claims, and commercial discussions. Additionally, the Technical Sales Specialist collaborates with operations, inside sales, and executives to solve company challenges and seize selling opportunities, while also supporting the marketing of new products and technologies and cross-training with other sales team members.
What you will need: Associate’s degree preferred. Current experience in technical, manufacturing sales. Knowledge of tooling and steel components.
