New Hudson, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a manufacturer of capital equipment and tooling systems.  Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Automotive Key Account Manager.

What you will do: The Automotive Key Manager is responsible for the development of new business and represents the primary technical point of contact for the customer. The position is responsible for the coordination and management of inter-company communication providing “one voice” strategies for global accounts, penetrating current client accounts by leveraging internal relationships, and managing strategic account plans that drive retention, penetration, profitability, and growth of existing accounts in assigned portfolio. The role establishes professional customer/vendor relationships, secures orders from existing and new customers by means of visiting the customer facility and/or contacting by phone, and reviews customer project specifications, strategizing with application engineering to develop customer solution. Additionally, the Automotive Key Account Manager presents quotes, proposals, detailed pricing, credit terms, and terms and conditions of sale, identifies potential emerging markets, and manages project activities with other functional areas (Applications, Engineering, Operations, and Service).

What you will need: Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Business. Experience selling capital equipment to the OEM’s . Experience with automotive body structures or automated assembly technology. Current experience integrating complex engineered solutions to the OEM’s. This is a Systems Level Sales role, not a component level position.
