Systems Engineer – Tier One

Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery    www.movementsearch.com/jobs     is working a tier one supplier of automotive systems and due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Systems Engineer.

What you will do: The Systems Engineer is the primary customer engineering contact, while also designing and developing new and current products. The position obtains, analyzes and cascades customer engineering requirements, maintains the System DFMEA, and ensures system designs comply with all established foundation documents. The role coordinates development of the System level DVP&R, supports DVP&R testing, and recommends updates/changes/improvements to established foundation documents. Additionally, the Systems Engineer support all product prototypes build activities, program management, product design reviews, product engineering, and process engineering.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in systems engineering. Strong skills in engineering of plastic injection molded parts. Working knowledge of plastic exterior trim design requirements and manufacturing processes. Experience with Catia V5 and UG NX. Familiarity with General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, VW and/or other OEM APQP processes.
