Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a tier-one automotive supplier. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Sealing Systems Engineer.
What you will do: The Sealing Systems Engineer leads of international development projects inclusive own contribution, sets up of guidelines and standards for sealings, and updates global standards for material, design and testing of sealings. The role cooperates with suppliers, elaborates/controls test programs for housing sealing systems, and supports application-oriented development as expert for sealing systems. The position supports the setup of a knowledge data base concerning sealing elements for power transmission components and reports as Program Manager to Product Development Manager for lubricants.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience with static and dynamic sealing for gear boxes, tribology of sealing elements, manufacturing methods and material Know-How for automotive sealing systems, quality standards for manufacturing of O-rings, radial- and shaft sealing rings, project management.
