Warren, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a leading supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Supplier Quality Supervisor.
What you will do: The Supplier Quality Supervisor ensures the components received from vendors meet specifications and continuously improves vendor processes. The position defines/lead roadmap for the team, coordinates incoming inspection activities, and requests corrective actions to the supplier. The position ensures “Recovery Cost” in time to quality issues with suppliers, works with the supplier to implement corrective actions, and maintains continual communication with vendors, internal and external customer ensuring immediate resolution of issues. Additionally, the Supplier Quality Supervisor prepares/implements all necessary standardized supplier quality documents and instructions at a manufacturing site, updates supplier complaints in SAP Quality Module, and generates failure cost reports.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Quality. Current experience in supplier quality supervision. SAP knowledge. Experience with PPAP, AQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and GD&T.
