Lincoln Nebraska – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a highly regarded manufacturing supplier of automotive components. Due to growth they have a newly created role for a Supplier Quality Engineer.
What you will do: The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for verifying suppliers ability to meet and maintain the requirements of the manufacturer for standard requirements as well as part specific requirements. The position is the primary point of contact to communicate and resolve quality related issues, while also working with the Global Supply Chain department to perform assessments and audits. Additionally, the Supplier Quality Engineer is the subject matter expert for suppliers as the need arises in quality, root cause, corrective action, and cost reduction.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Background in the manufacturing industry with quality experience. Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Experience in GD&T, reading engineering prints and managing PPAP events.
