Memphis, Tennessee – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a company that fully designs, manufactures and distributes moving equipment for all types of manufacturing. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Supplier Quality Engineer.
What you will do: The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for the daily tactical support of supplier product conformance to specified requirements through supplier verification efforts, to reduce or eliminate redundant receiving inspection, to emphasize incoming inspection versus supplier’s site, and to accept and use marginal product. The role achieves objectives through leading daily supplier non-conformance issue resolutions, coordinating supplier sorting and corrective actions, and promoting and implementing quality concepts and transferring company’s receiving inspection of product specified requirements into the supplier’s responsibility. Additionally, the position participates in development activities to pro-actively improve product/processes and prevent nonconforming product.
What you will need: Bachelor Degree in Engineering with manufacturing experience. Experience in supplier quality. Certified Quality Engineer certification preferred.
