Greencastle, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international manufacturer. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Supplier Quality Engineer.
What you will do: The Supplier Quality Engineer provides leadership and direction in the areas of quality systems, defect identification and prevention, and planning. The position coordinates and directs quality assurance programs, works directly with the customers, and assures the quality level of the finished product. The role collects/analyzing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations and validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes. Additionally, the Supplier Quality Engineer coordinates/maintains all activities to ensure sustainment and advancement of TS16949, ISO, and customer specific requirements.
What you will need: B.S. Degree in an Engineering. Current experience leading quality teams within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of International Standard TS16949 Quality Management Systems. Knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality practices. Experience with quality improvement tools and techniques (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis). American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification and Quality Engineer certification preferred.
