Steering/Suspension Senior Manager


Cincinnati, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery    is working with a world leader in the automotive industry. Our 100 year old publicly traded client has engaged our services to help identify a Senior Manager – Steering/Suspension for their growing business.

What you will do: The Product Manager – Steering/Suspension is responsible for all facets of product management including growth, innovation and cost goals. The role leads a drivetrain product management team to innovate and grow the current product lines, launches new product lines that complement the current portfolio and capabilities as an organization, and works through the product management organization to achieve savings targets. The position develops strategies to achieve vocational growth across product lines, executes strategies to achieve business sales and growth projections, and analyzes competitive market trends, while also negotiating product line expansion through additional depth and breadth of line. Additionally, the Senior Product Manager develops/manages product line budgets and expenses and communicates/coordinates with internal and external stake holders to align actions and achieve maximum results.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Current experience with extensive responsibilities for sales and product/program/project management and a demonstrated track record of success. Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. Knowledge of steering and suspensions. Experience in the markets, products, and customers supported by the aftermarket division. International experience strongly desired. Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
