Auburn Hills, Michigan Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with an international tier-one supplier of automotive components. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Engineering Standards Coordinator.

What you will do: The Standards Coordinator establishes, implements and maintains Standards for the Engineering Department to ensure conformance to TS16949.  The positions maintains engineering standards library of internal documents and procedures in accordance to TS16949, maintains updates to external standards customer specific, automotive specific, internal and international groups, and conducts background investigation to develop standards and specifications not yet available. The role supports the preparation of information for release of potential new standard procedures, releases new standards and procedures for use as standard practices, and reviews standards to avoid overlapping or duplication. Additionally, the Standards Coordinator verifies all concessions for required content and completeness to maintain correct documentation on all concessions, produces change to concession procedure, and distributes concession in accordance with concession procedure.

What you will need: Experience in automotive/engineering/production environment. Formal training and experience in blueprint reading. Knowledge of PDM, SAP and IMDS.
