Sr. Electrical Testing Engineer

Auburn Hills, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a global, electronics company to identity a Sr. Test Development Engineer for a newly created role.

What you will do: The Sr. Test Development Engineer identifies customer needs and develops test system designs to meet all applicable requirements. The role identifies appropriate test and data acquisition technology and organizes functional system development, while also selecting appropriate test system controls to meet design requirements. The position maintains engineering documentation, resolves issues for test system development, and reviews/identifies changes to detailed drawing sets and specifications from system design concept stage through release for use at the component and assembly level. Additionally, the Sr. Test Development Engineer performs test system failure analysis on new and existing test equipment and reports results, is responsible for tracking and meeting approved test equipment budgets, and timing, and directs external sources of test system development.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Current experience in testing development. Experience in test equipment development for validation of electrical devices. Electromechanical design and test system design experience. NI LabView experience. Knowledge of communication interfaces such as CAN, LIN, SENT, PSI5.
