Sr. Quality Development Engineer

Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with an international supplier of raw materials and electronics to the manufacturing industry. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Sr. Quality Development Engineer.

What you will do: The Sr. Development Quality Engineer ensures compliance with ISO/TS Quality Standards including delivering to APQP/PPAP requirements for automotive hardware design, development, and implementation, develops/maintains product inspection test and statistical process control procedures, and supports development of control plans, FMEA’s and quality system definition. The role develops, maintains and ensures project on-time delivery of all quality deliverables, defines/maintains process definition (flowchart procedure) for customer field returned parts, and ensures compliance by quality Customer Service Team. The position leads follow-up and on-time closure of all quality audits, supports the purchasing team by managing supplier development quality activities, and recommends modifications/improvements to existing quality standards.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience with ISO audits, APQP, PPAP, and GD&T. Experience with supporting the development of control plans, FMEA’s, flow charts, and inspection instructions supporting engineering and production teams. Quality and continuous improvement certifications are a plus.
