Saline, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a world leader in equipment for industrial components for aerospace. Due to their growth, the company has opened a new position for a Project Engineer.
What you will do: The Project Engineer develops, applies and maintains resources used to support new and existing repair capabilities. The position troubleshoots and maintains current and future test and support equipment, researches and develops rework solutions for components typical of the industry, and works with external and OEM specialists to implement solutions. The role tracks and analyzes repair history in order to have a positive impact on repair performance and minimize premature failures, while also managing multiple projects including budgets and timelines. Additionally, the Project Engineer provides both technical support to repair shop technicians and testing training on infrastructure and component repair.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic technologies that are utilized for component repair, testing and support activities. Knowledge of inspection control methods, techniques and documentation. Hands on knowledge of mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and test rigs.
