Carrollton, Georgia- Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international automotive manufacturer and due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Paint Engineer.
What you will do: The Paint Engineer performs process equipment specification development, coordinates project/testing activities in/out of EGA, and reviews current paint and sealing processes for modifications. The role proposes new processes to meet customer requirements to improve efficiency, quality and/or characteristics, conducts on-site investigations of existing manufacturing lines and facilities, and investigates drawings and models of car parts for manufacturability. The position compares car geometry data to existing equipment and/or processes, writes equipment and process specifications, and uses simulation software for reach and interference checks.
What you will need: Technical degree is a plus. Experience with paint and sealing processes, industrial workflow processes. Familiar with automation processes used in manufacturing. Current experience in automotive paint manufacturing. Strong experience with color matching.
