Software/Hardware Project Manager - Hybrid Vehicles

Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs  is working with an international supplier of raw materials and electronics to the manufacturing industry. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Project Manager.

What you will do: The Project Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of the hardware and software for the battery management system and related electronics systems. The role creates, manages, and tracks project vehicles for the embedded software and hardware development, manages the day to day activities of projects and staff, and communicates with project teams as necessary. The position collaborates with internal and external customers as needed, makes recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization and resource allocation with input from team members, and works with technical leads to accurately estimate additional work associated with customer/internally driven engineering change requests. Additionally, the Project Manager interfaces with customer both to negotiate delivery schedules and requirements, interfaces with validation and verification to accurately assess HW and SW status, and interfaces with program management to ensure HW and SW are meeting overall program timing.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. Current project management experience. Experience with automotive hardware and software development processes. Experience with requirements management.
