Software/Firmware Test Engineer

Atlanta, Georgia – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a growing, multi-billion dollar manufacturing client. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Electronic Component Engineer in Decatur.

What you will do: The Software/Firmware Test Engineer is responsible for the specification, design, development and testing of software and firmware. The role develops SW and FW tests, maintains reports/documentation, testing new electronic technologies for lighting applications, while also creating specifications for new products. The position is concerned with LED drivers, LEDcode Symbiosis devices, customer UI and other LED driver control devices, reports issues and bugs in the eldoLED tracker and Redmine issue tracker, and stays up to date on all industry trends and new products.

What you will need: BSEE. Current experience in testing of software and firmware. Experience with Python, Labview, familiar with using oscilloscopes. ISTQB Certified Tester. Current experience in power electronics.
