Farmington Hills, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a international supplier of products to the industrial, automotive, aerospace, and commercial industries. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Quality Engineer – Software.

What you will do: The Quality Engineer – Software promotes and develops a culture of software process knowledge and conformance among a diverse team of software engineers. The role provides leadership in following established software development processes and provide guidance in process tailoring to align with project demands, while also facilitating software work product reviews. The position supports the development of software quality metrics and collaborates in DFMEAs and SW-FMEAs. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Engineer – Software identifies tools and process improvements to support software engineering team.

What you will need: BS/MS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Experience writing embedded controls software for automotive applications and meeting automotive production milestones. Current experience in Software Quality Assurance role. Experience with project management concepts, including quality gated projects. Experience with Agile, ASPICE, Software FMEA, ISO26262.
