Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a multi-national leader in automobile electronics. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Software Engineer.
What you will do: The Software Engineer develops/designs the electronic content of quality electromechanical products within agreed time-scales according to company procedures and lead product development from start to production. The role provides a development and design service that will help R&D achieve a close working relationship with our customers, leads product development teams to achieve on-time deliveries and quality sign-off, and documents the development and design, so that it attains group leader approval. The position documents complete stack ups of the designed product to ensure a robust design, provides production with all relevant information for components and assemblies (e.g. Component drawings, assembly drawings), and ensures feasibility of designed components and assemblies by using all relevant steps of product design according to QM guidelines. Additionally, the Software Engineer tracks complete design verification and product verification according to customer specification requirements in close relationship to the test lab, provides technical support to sales and marketing to obtain new business, and undertakes training agreed and recorded in the training plan, and that may lead to professional status of a relevant institution.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Physics. Current experience in embedded software engineering. Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. Knowledge of microcontrollers and programming with state-of-the-art software (Language: C or C++ / CASE tools). Experience with automotive network systems (preferred: CAN and LIN). Design of complex products (including digital & analog circuits).
